Youth services

There are a lot of services available, that do not require a GP referral and that you can access directly, which will help get you the support you need:

School Health

You can get the most up-to-date information and advice easily. Whether it’s sleep or sensory processing, language or online safety, you can find advice and strategies to start using straight away.

You can also find out more about therapy packages and the support for functional, physical or communication needs that are already available through schools and Early Years providers.

Early help service for 0-19 year olds:

This service is made up of East Sussex County Council and NHS professionals, who can offer a wide range of support at your home, from a Family Hub or a Youth Hub.

They can offer help and support through:

  • Health Visiting health clinics and home visits
  • Keywork Support
  • Family groups at a Family Hub
  • Youth groups at a Youth Hub
  • Supporting you to become a volunteer
  • Training courses to improve Life Skills
  • Support with child Speech and Language
  • Antenatal support (NHS)
  • Parenting Advice and Courses
