MB ChB (Aberdeen 1986) FRCGP
Dr Stewart has worked in Eastbourne since 1987 and joined the Practice in 1991. His particular interests are palliative medicine and training GPs of the future. He is the Executive Partner in the practice. He is based at College Road Surgery, but also works at St Wilfrid's Hospice, the Medical Centre at Eastbourne College and the Postgraduate Centre at the Eastbourne District General Hospital.

Dr Folwell joined the practice in 1994. He is based at Ian Gow Memorial Health Centre.

Dr Nicholles joined the practice in 1997, working part time. She is married with two children. She provides contraception services for the practice including contraceptive coil and implant fitting. She is based at College Road Surgery.

Dr Caroe is interested in helping people to experience health in all aspects of their lives. He is also the Executive Medical Director for two CCG's (Clinical Commissioning Group). He is married with two children and enjoys walking on the hills and playing tennis. He is based at College Road Surgery.
Dr Rajendra has been a partner since 2014, prior to which he was working as a salaried doctor in the practice. He is married with two children and enjoys spending time with them. He is based at College Road Surgery.

Dr McCloskey joined the practice as a partner in April 2013. She has previously worked as a partner in a practice in Oxford for 12 years. She is also a GP trainer. She is married with two children and lives in Eastbourne. She is based at Ian Gow Memorial Health Centre.

Dr Durston joined the practice in August 2013. He completed his training in General Practice here and has been working as a doctor in Eastbourne since 2009. He is married with two sons and lives in Lewes. He is based at Ian Gow Memorial Health Centre.
MBBS MRCGP DCH DRCOG
Dr Woolhouse joined the practice in March 2014. She has previously worked in several different practices as a partner and as a salaried doctor. She is based at Ian Gow Memorial Health Centre.
BSc (Hons) MBBS MRCGP
Dr Baldwin completed his GP training at the practice and joined the partnership in 2014. As well GP work, Dr Baldwin writes and edits medical textbooks for Oxford University Press and is the Medical Referee at the Wealden crematorium. Dr Baldwin lives in Eastbourne and enjoys walking on the Downs or by the sea and spending time with his family.

Dr Dixon recently qualified as a GP in 2015 after completing his GP training at Lighthouse Medical Practice. He is based at Ian Gow Memorial Health Centre.
BSc (Hons) MBBS
Dr Clift completed her GP training at Lighthouse Medical Practice and joined as a partner in November 2015. She is married with one daughter and lives in Seaford. She provides contraception services for the practice including contraceptive coil and implant fitting. She is based at College Road Surgery.
Dr Jones has been working with us as a salaried doctor for the last few years and lives in Eastbourne. She is based at College Road Surgery.
Dr Vaughan completed her GP training at Lighthouse in 2018. She is married with 2 little boys. She enjoys anything creative and getting out and about in the beautiful scenes Eastbourne affords.
BA (Hons), MBBS, MRCGP, DipMedAcu
Dr Rubens started at College Road as a salaried GP in 2019. She is married with two children. Dr Rubens also trains healthcare professionals in medical acupuncture and is President of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (2018-2020). She set up CBAS, the Community Based Acupuncture Service at the Macmillan horizon centre in Brighton and is a keen proponent of Lifestyle Medicine and understanding the root causes of illness.
Mrs. Amanda Sayer joined the practice in 2004 and is the Business and Managing Partner. Amanda looks after Ian Gow and College Road. Amanda is also a Specialist Adviser for the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Amanda was nominated by our Patient Forum for East Sussex Business Woman of the Year 2014 and she won the award. She works locally and Nationally to promote patient and public involvement in health is also part of many groups which work to put the patients of Eastbourne at the top of the Government's Agenda.
Senior Administration and Operations Manager: Claire joined our team in 2002 and is the Senior Managing responsible for running many aspects of the operational management of the practice. She supports and manages our teams of administrative and support staff on both sites. She works closely with the Executive Team in the practice to help the practice continually develop, innovate and evolve its operational systems and processes to ensure we provide the best service we can.
She has a keen interest in sport and nutrition especially CrossFit and this is what she does for enjoyment when she isn't working at the practice.
Administration and Operations Manager: Katrina has worked at the practice for many years and has a wealth of experience and knowledge to bring to the smooth running of our administrative teams.
Sister Caroline joined the practice in 1999 and leads our team of nurses and health care assistants. She is also our diabetic lead nurse. She recently won the Public's Choice award at the Proud to Care Sussex Nursing Awards.
Pauline is our Associate Practitioner who works full time & has undertaken extra training to enable her to offer a wide variety of appointments. She will be starting the Associate Practitioner training in September 2015.
Mark and Alastair are our paramedics and do acute and proactive home visits for patients who are unable to get to the surgery due to acute illness or chronic physical health conditions.
