Due to significant pressures on the practice, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily limit new patient registrations. Our patient list has grown rapidly to over 18,300 people, and we are experiencing considerable staffing changes, reduced GP capacity, and increasing demand across both of our sites. We are also operating within buildings that were designed for a much smaller population, which is creating further strain on our ability to provide safe, high-quality care.
For these reasons, and to protect the wellbeing of our remaining team and ensure safe services for our existing patients, we are unable to continue registering new patients in the usual way. We will not be keeping a waiting list, and we will reopen to new registrations when we feel it is safe to do so.
If you need help finding a GP surgery in Sussex, please contact the NHS Sussex GP Allocations Team:
This website will show you other GPs in your local area.
We will continue to register the following patients:
- New-born or adopted babies of parents already registered with the practice and living within our boundary
- First-degree relatives of registered patients who live at the same address and within our boundary
You will need to collect a registration form from the surgery and return it to us for processing as our online portal has been suspended during this time.
All matters have been discussed with our Patient Participation Group (PPG), and we are grateful for their support during this challenging period.
Thank you for your understanding. Our priority remains the safety and quality of care for our existing patients and the wellbeing of our team.
